Royston Goodacre

Roy is Professor of Biological Chemistry in the University of Manchester.  His research group (www.biospec.net) work at the intersection of the physical and life sciences, any they concentrate on metabolomics and systems biology, chemometrics, analytical biotechnology, as well as Raman spectroscopy.  Roy has published >200 peer-reviewed papers and co-edited two books on metabolic profiling and systems biology. Roy is Editor-in-chief of the journal Metabolomics and on the editorial board of the Journal of Analytical and Applied Pyrolysis. He is a founding director of the Metabolomics Society and Director of the Metabolic Profiling Forum.
